Acne Natural Treatment

There are tons of acne treatments out there and some of them if used improperly can really do more damage than good to your skin.  If you are someone that really worries about this then maybe an acne natural treatment is for you.  I will cover a few of the ones that I have used in the past that really have helped me out.

First acne natural treatment I really like to do, especially on a hot summer day, is taking ice cubes and running them over my face.  Some people recommend to use them on the affected areas but I usually make a double use out of it and cool myself off as well as using it as an acne treatment.  This treatment works because it soothes the skin and its irritations causing the pore sizes to actually reduce.

The next natural treatment I use involves using egg whites.  Just dab some egg whites on the affected areas and leave it on overnight.

Another great method that is useful is by making and wearing a face mask. An extremely useful mixture to use has:

  • Teaspoon of oatmeal
  • Teaspoon of sour cream
  • Teaspoon of yogurt

You can also add some lemon juice if you so desire.  Once you get the mixture together pat it gently on your face and you will want to wear this for at least 10 minutes everyday.  You might feel silly while wearing it but you will feel the difference once you rinse it off.  There is also another face mask mixture that will help do the trick.  This one involves a mixture of rosewater to make paste with sandalwood.  You can apply this one directly to the affected areas if you desire.  Keep this mixture on overnight but if you can not do that then you should leave it on at least for one hour in order for it to take affect.  It will create a soothing and cooling sensation on your face as well.

Those were a few different acne natural treatments that I have used in the past and have worked out well.  They are a great alternative if you don't want to use over the counter acne medications.
